Data Scientist

Location: Tampa, FL
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI 
Experience: 3–10 Years
Education: BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

Overview:

Seaside Innovations is seeking a Data Scientist to join our growing team supporting Department of Defense and Intelligence Community missions. The ideal candidate will bring analytical curiosity, technical expertise, and creativity to solve complex challenges in national security.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data science techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into actionable intelligence.

• Utilize programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Plotly) to communicate insights.

• Apply machine learning, data mining, and natural language processing to analyze structured and unstructured data.

• Build and maintain dynamic dashboards, statistical models, and data pipelines.

• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and leadership to deliver high-impact analytical products.

• Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

• 3–10 years of experience applying data science methods to real-world problems.

• Demonstrated proficiency with data wrangling, feature engineering, and model validation.

• Experience with cloud-based data environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Active TS/SCI clearance.

• Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00

Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Translate technical and operational requirements into scalable IT system designs.

• Apply software engineering principles across system design, testing, deployment, and sustainment.

• Develop shared, integrated software and/or hardware solutions supporting enterprise information models.

• Implement industry best practices in software development, activity modeling, and performance management.

• Document and maintain standards for software engineering procedures and practices.

• Identify and construct business improvement opportunities that align with organizational information management goals.

Qualifications:

• 3–10 years of experience in software or systems engineering.

• Proficiency with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar).

• Experience with agile methodologies, DevSecOps, and CI/CD environments.

• Familiarity with database design, modeling, and version control systems.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Active TS/SCI clearance 

• Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00
